Architecture for Humanity: Dialysis Hospital in Saly, Senegal

At KEO, we focus on the communities we serve. Through our CSR work, that focus has taken us to Saly, Senegal, where our design team, led by Darryl Custer and Fernando Rial Ponce, worked with Dr. André Mermoud to bring one of the country’s largest dialysis hospitals to life.
With 200 dialysis machines serving up to 400 patients each day, the hospital brings treatment closer for people who have long had to travel far for care. It’s a project that builds on our ongoing efforts across the African continent, including children’s hospitals in Zambia and Ethiopia.
