The largest green space in the heart of capital city of Doha
Al Bidda Park
Doha, Qatar
The development of the park is envisaged as one which will evolve as Qatar continues to change, and which can be flexibly integrated with the social and community plans of future generations.
Al Bidda Park, also previously known as Al Rumailah Park, is a central style park situated between Corniche Street and Majilis Al Taawon Street in Doha, Qatar. Aside from its size, trails and beautiful scenic flora, the fact that Al Bidda Park is Qatar’s very first pet-friendly outdoor family area, sets it apart. The central positionof Al Bidda Park within the city, makes it a major venue for Qatar National Day and other celebrations.
Renovation of the old park began in 2014. New additions were added such as large gymnasiums, including one for women, as well as outdoor exercise equipment, open-air playgrounds, water areas, an open theatre which can seat 850, as well as tracks for bicycles, horses and camels, and other recreational and service facilities. The Park includes barbecue stations, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts throughout.
