KEO International Consultants has acquired Meehan Green, one of Europe’s leading green building consultancies. By combining Meehan Green’s regional expertise with KEO’s international scale, the team is accelerating expansion in Europe and enhancing its capability to deliver advanced ESG, decarbonization, and green building solutions for clients across the globe.

Meehan Green will operate as Meehan Green, a KEO Company, combining its deep local expertise with KEO’s multidisciplinary capabilities and global delivery. The teams are already working together on projects across Ireland, Europe, and the Middle East.

Donna Sultan, President and CEO of KEO, commented, “Meehan Green brings specialized expertise and strong reputation in Ireland and throughout Europe, adding important capabilities to our Sustainability + Environment Division. This partnership allows us to better serve our clients pursuing ambitious green building standards in Europe and beyond. We are delighted to welcome them to KEO.”

Nellie Reid, LEED Fellow and Managing Director of Meehan Green, added, “Joining KEO enables us to build on our legacy and contribute at a broader scale. With KEO’s reach and resources, we can deliver even greater value to clients pursuing high-performance, low-carbon outcomes.”

KEO’s Sustainability + Environment Division, led by Christian Millar, is the largest in the Middle East and one of the largest waste management consultancy practices in the world. The addition of Meehan Green deepens KEO’s ability to support clients navigating certification pathways, climate-focused regulation, and ESG strategy across multiple markets.

The integration is already underway, with joint teams collaborating on active projects and preparing to scale operations in Ireland and Europe to meet rising demand. KEO’s investment in Meehan Green underscores its long-term strategy to lead the global sustainability transition through innovation, talent, and geographic diversification.
