Shaping the Future, Together

In July, colleagues from KEO and its Allied Practices across Europe and the Middle East joined together in Porto for KEO Europe’s 2025 Summer Sessions. The event marked a valuable opportunity to connect across borders, align on shared goals, and reflect on the evolving future of our industry.

The full-day program was designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and strategic thinking, reinforcing KEO’s commitment to innovation and excellence across all disciplines.

Collaborative Morning Sessions

The day began with a series of team-building activities in Porto’s city center. Sixteen teams participated in a collaborative urban challenge, encouraging problem-solving, coordination, and knowledge-sharing in a dynamic setting. These activities were complemented by hands-on workshops focused on idea development, creative problem-solving, and driving collective impact.

Exploring the Future of the Built Environment

In the afternoon, attention turned to a conference program featuring a dynamic mix of internal and external speakers, exploring the key themes shaping our future – AI, innovation, wellbeing, leadership, and cross-border collaboration. Framed by the guiding themes of KEO 4.0, the conference underscored the importance of people, purpose, and adaptability in a fast-changing world.
