Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer has overall responsibility for financial operations across all of KEO, all its P& L Operations, Allied Practices and offices. The position of Chief Financial Officer includes overall group responsibility for finance, credit management, taxation, treasury including banking, bonds, financial accounting, auditing, management accounts, and internal controls. As KEO’s Chief Financial Officer, Ayub is also a full member of KEO’s Executive Leadership Board that has responsibility for setting directions, strategies and policies for the firm. His focus includes providing leadership in improving commercial awareness across the firm, managing commercial risks and delivering on expected commercial results. Working with all of their executive leadership team and project delivery professionals, the Chief Financial Officer has a clear mandate to instil commercial best practices within the firm and for developing corresponding training programs within KEO.

Ayub has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Management of large complex corporate financial systems, and over 6 years’ experience within the GCC region. Previously, Ayub was the finance manager and board member for the Oil & Gas as well as Management Consultancy Unit at Mott Macdonald operating in the GCC, UK, and Asia. It was in these markets that Ayub honed his skills as an effective commercial leader operating in different cultures, jurisdictions with complex legal, contractual and tax frameworks. Ayub’s experience also draws from a wide range of businesses, including as auditor, in education, IT internet start-ups, cost management, project and program management, management consultancy, power and the oil and gas sectors.
