John Darroch is a qualified engineer with over 35 years of project experience. More than 10 of those years has been in the region working for international world-class consultants, leading PM and CM/CS teams in Oman, Kuwait and the UAE on mega Construction projects. Previously he has spent 25 years working for World-class Contractors in the UK, Singapore and KSA. He has led and managed autonomous business units on immense Projects such as Heathrow’s Terminal 5. His all-round project delivery experience includes multiple sectors such as infrastructure, building, aviation, transportation and the Oil & Gas sector.

John holds a BSc (Hons.) in Civil & Structural Engineering from the University of Manchester, along with Executive Diplomas in Management and Strategic Management from the Chartered Management Institute in the UK. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).

He has been with KEO since 2017 in senior management positions, the last being that of Executive Director, Project Management Operations and Support Services in the Project Management/Construction Management International Division.

John’s joint mandate is to drive excellence in the delivery of PM/CM services, run a profitable operation, and to promoting growth for the division through business development efforts in line with KEO’s strategies for 2020 and beyond. John is also a full member of KEO’s Executive Leadership Management Board.
